This system is an ideal option for electricity generation in recreation projects to be established by municipalities and public institutions on rivers passing through city centers.

Legal Framework:
Under the Electricity Market Law No. 6446 and the relevant regulations, municipalities and public institutions may apply for unlicensed electricity generation. In this context, the relevant municipalities can establish hydroelectric power generation plants up to a total installed capacity of 300 kW after being endorsed by DSI.
Application Process:
Under the Electricity Market Law No. 6446 and the regulations issued pursuant to this law, capacity increase requests for hydroelectric power plants are subject to certain procedures. With the integration of the Archimedes Screw Turbine System, capacity increase requests can be realized as follows:
Municipality Application
The respective municipality applies to establish a hydroelectric power generation facility on the river passing through the city center. The application is made within the framework of the procedures specified in the Regulation on Unlicensed Electricity Generation in the Electricity Market.
Endorsement by DSI
The project must be endorses by DSI. DSI will evaluate the project in terms of efficient and environmentally friendly use of water resources.
Project Approval and Installation
After approval, the Archimedes Screw Turbine System is installed and energy production starts. This system meets the electrical energy needs of the recreation areas.
